Generally speaking, yes. 1:25 and better times, Advanced, 1:25-1:35 Intermediate, slower, Novice. This is what other groups recommend, and the general rule of thumb for "consistent" times. Of course, if you have a ton of track experience, and racing experience, this can be different because times on a track generally don't always say your skill level. Someone riding a 125 or 250 bike could be faster in all the corners but slow on the straights, which might put their times around 1:25-1:30 range, and they could handle themselves in advanced.
You have to look at both. From the sounds of it, you would want Int, but if that day you were faster than everyone, and if needed, you could bump up... This is going to be a good group of people, and it just takes a discussion to move around...









....i'm looking to do this track day...i think my best there is 1:28...so would that be intermediate?
