It's rather ironic that apple can't compete with ms because they make a superior product. That puts apple in a tight spot, i mean they can't very well lower the quality/hardware standards that their consumer base has grown accustom to and they can't compete with ms in the same price range. That is a pickle indeed.

I don't think so. Different corporate strategies and Apple is a solid company with a solid customer base. They can continue to coexist. It's not a winner take all war.

That's how we got on the Mac discussion, because they own damn near the entire computing world, yet are feeding consumers their selective garbage.

As I understand USB thumb drives and USB hard drives will not be effected. Only the memory cards where you can save XBL content.
