Bump!!!

Planting season is really starting to take off. From now till early June you will have Fertilizer Trucks, Sprayers, Big Discs, and Big Ass Planters out and about. So I am just Bumping this to the top to warn everybody to watch out, and be careful out there.



I don't have any Planting equipment pictures to post, but they are about as big as the combine in the first post.




Always be safe and watchout for those pesky farmers. They are out and about at 20 MPH.

I almost impaled myself on a cultivator that was being pulled by a pickup truck at night.

I didn't realize it was there till I was already past.



In my opinion, all farm equipment or the like should have marker lights on their extremities.

For example the BigA sprayers, spreaders,Terigators only have head lights on the narrow front hood. At night, behind the blinding lights there is another 5 feet of metal and rubber sticking out. Given the narrow appearance of the array of lights, someone that doesn't know any better may not realize half a monster truck tire is oncoming in their lane.

I was almost hit by a driver swerving around a combine. It really shook me up. So be aware of that too. Great reminder Thanks.

Man, you have to be right out by a few of us......... I live off 22 at the Oldham/Jeff line......... Keep an eye out on the rides sections.

I live right by the oldham/jefferson county line on 42. Real close to that thorntons at the top of the hill if you're coming from prospect. I think I know exactly where you're talking about. I could get out that way by taking sleepy hollow right?

Yep.... I ride through there there all the time. The road is closed right now thou. Their doing some major work on it.......
