The campaign is short. Bort and I finished it last night in ~5 hours on Legendary. The real reason to buy it is for Firefight mode, which is IMHO the better than Horde in Gears or Survival in L4D.
My biggest gripe is the AI. The enemies always know where you are. It's kinda dumb really.

Checked it out at a buddies house, firefight mode seems almost exactly like the halo 3 campaign. Maybe it was just the map they were on. Would you say it's better than COD World at war zombie mode?
Going to pickup the game tomorrow... Did any of you do the midnight release event and if so was the first 50 people gift worth while from bestbuy?

It's better than Nazi zombies and I loves me some Nazi zombies.
I like Halo's point system, where you can 'compete' with your teammates as well as cooperating with them. I also like the medals they give(headshots, splatter kills) it gives me incentive to kill baddies in new and exciting ways. Keeps things interesting.
Overall I'm not a huge Halo fan. I prefer Gears or COD but the new Firefight mode is great. I just wish it had matchmaking.
