GSX-S is getting a shock change, straight rate fork springs, and a larger rear sprocket. DRZ is getting an RMZ number plate, 6" light bar, E model head pipe, 16t front sprocket, Race Tech gold valves, and new tires for the street and dirt wheels....

Don't know any specific "rules" about oil changes for bikes that don't see a lot of riding, but every six months would be about right in my estimation. I change mine every six months or 5000 miles whichever comes first and use a good quality full...

Ive got a couple motorcycles I don't ride much, what is the rule of thumb for oil changes even when I'm not putting miles on the bikes? Ive maybe put 250-300 miles on one of my bikes since oil change a year ago... I don't mind changing it but also...

I read that article and was surprised to see how many brands were actually owned by that huge parent company. I haven't had to order anything in a bit, but the parts i've been thinking of and looking at seem to be a bit cheaper on...

MAG group, which includes Motorcycle Superstore and a bunch of other brands, is entering bankruptcy. This is distressing as it makes one wonder that if a Billion dollar business is shaky that the whole industry may be suffering. Sigh...hopefully...

I have to agree with Cano on this one. A quality fuel stabilizer will keep the fuel from going bad. Here is one of many articles on the subject of starting the bike during winter storage. https://www.lawabidingbiker.com/130/ Additionally,...

The issue isn't simply letting it sit v. letting it run. If you let it run long enough to fully warm the oil up, then you will not experience any adverse issues with condensation. Problem is that is hard to do unless you are actually riding the...

I would disagree with that. Lack of usage is what causes gas to gum things up. Engines were made to run. I'm not sure how letting something sit in any way could be better than letting it run.

I agree with not starting the bike during storage. If the bike is going to sit for an extended period it is best to change the oil before storing. Don't bother starting the bike up until you are ready to ride again. Even if it sits for several...

I will flush and fill the brake fluid on my ZX636 but that is about it. Both bikes are where I need them to be as far as mods and upgrades. Might replace the chain and sprockets on the Ninja 1000. Mainly will be grumbling about how much I hate...
